The future lies to the east

Carré de Soie is the second largest European-scale project in the Lyon urban area. This 500 hectare site, strategically located on the borders of Villeurbanne and Vaulx-en-Velin at the heart of Lyon's eastern suburbs, will soon be undergoing massive change. With high-quality public transport and a large-scale urban project, Carré de Soie – a true extension to the core of the conurbation – will ultimately be home to over 30,000 people.
