
The video games publisher is hoping to see further growth of around 10 to 16% in its French business during the current financial year, thanks to the sale of new products. Electronic Arts is still the leading videogames distributor in France, with a market share of 23.5%.
"EA enjoyed an outstanding new year," explained Larry Probst, Chairman and CEO of Electronic Arts. "We have a record turnover, 27 products achieving sales of more than one million units, and record net profits. We're starting the new tax year in fine shape".
"We are very much looking forward to the coming year," stated Warren Jenson, Electronic Arts' CFO. "Once again, we are expecting to put in an excellent performance, while at the same time investing in new technologies".
