100,000 sqm of state-of-the-art technology

The Lyon-Techsud development forms part of the Technopôle science park in Lyon’s Gerland district

The project stretches the length of Avenue Tony Garnier – often referred to as the “science boulevard” – and is located near to Lyon's ring road, Boulevard Laurent Bonnevay. Its construction forms part of the wider ZAC Porte Ampère mixed development zone.
This business park is being developed by a public–private partnership between SAS Porte Ampère (a private company comprising the site’s land owner, GDF, and the SERL urban development company) and the Grand Lyon Urban Community and City of Lyon local authorities.
It covers an area of around 19 hectares, 14 hectares of which are negotiable for sale.
The Lyon-Techsud science park is specifically designed to accommodate leading-edge companies specialising in biotechnology and other state-of-the-art technologies, and is the only large-scale land-use project in this sector.

The project is set to include:

 | 38,000 sqm of net floor space fronting onto the "science boulevard” for laboratories, research centres, offices and headquarters. These buildings will be in keeping with the rest of the boulevard (five-storey maximum), and will define its facade and accentuate its impact in the city.
|
 | 28,000 sqm of net floor space for mixed activities in the centre of the development (production, research, support services, engineering, small-scale storage, etc.).
|
 | Land to the east of Rue Saint-Jean-de-Dieu will be reserved for industrial production facilities requiring large amounts of space (research, manufacturing, testing, packing, etc.).
