Summary

Covering an area of 193 hectares, the Chassieu industrial park counts 9,000 jobs within 520 companies. This dense area has a great potential of extension to the South, and works in close collaboration with the Eurexpo site.

Chassieu

Work on some roads has already begun (avenue du Progrès and avenue du Dauphiné). This will be continued, and work on the Montgolfier/Blériot corridor is also planned.

The existing sign-posting will be gradually renewed. More generally, the area's activity will be renewed, in keeping with the sector's environmental constraints (well field). Possibilities for joint ventures with the Genas business park will be looked into within the framework of the "territory partnerships" approach.

M€2.4 have been budgeted for over 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 for development.
