The Village des créateurs du Passage Thiaffait

Fashion and design professionals, with the support of public authorities, have set up a resource center for designers.

This area, the only one of its kind, mainly meets 3 main objectives:

	encourage the economic development, and promotion, of young national and international designers installed in the "passage Thiaffait",
	support and assist young designers from the Lyon conurbation who belong to the "Passage Thiaffait" association,
	promote design through "Lyon, city of Fashion and Design".

Its residents and members benefit from many services:

a 60m2 showroom to display their collections,

the Resource Center, offering general services and individual advice to help decision-making and development

sponsorship by a fashion company.

More than just offering a physical space for young designers, this center helps them along so that they, too, know success.

This area is also an exhibition area for fashion and design, open to international cultures.

The Villa Créatis

The Villa Créatis opened in June 2003 to fashion and design organizations and companies.

Set up for and by the profession, with substantial support from the public sector, this building located in the Industrie district (in Vaise) aims to put innovative tools at the disposal of professionals (a forum space, an exhibition hall, etc.).

	The site hosts development structures, particularly for export, for textile and clothing companies: the Espace Mode and the Espace Textile.
	It offers exhibition halls.
	There is a Forum, a cybersite.
	There is a material library covering the different fashion sectors: textile documentation center, fabric library, database, and sector-specific technological development monitoring services (project in progress).
	It is the reception area of the European Dermocosmetology Center
	It is the reception area of professional textile unions head offices.

It is an area conducive to creativity, thanks to the services offered, and the various and complementary skills of the professionals evolving in the building.
